Congratulations to Marcus H (School House) on being crowned winner of the 2026 Staff Reading Prize.
Marcus' story, The Borrowed - read with expressive dynamism - is a detective murder-mystery thriller set in Hong Kong, in which a famous actor is in severe danger and comes to a sticky end.
Avani B, who read The Elephant with the Short Nose, was named junior winner.
